I hit it early and used nothing but the marksman(the anti-marksman bs is exactly that;BS).
I enjoyed the chaos at times and played with some skilled butchers so it wasn't bad.Btw,the prototype ammo perk combined with the marksman is LETHAL albeit short-lived.
Remember,all melee,grenade,etc kills count.I recieved the trophy at 9,209 kills.By marksman.

I have no doubt and no reservations as to FF13's current predicament;Had it remained exclusive it would have been better.Significanly so.Had SE known then what they are ultimately learning now they wouldn't have gone this path.However,it is a mistake they will not repeat,for in truth it is one that they cannot afford ...

@Nix 5-2 is a watery grave for many,myself included(numerous times lol).
An awesome bow(sticky) can really help,especially against the giant depraved ones.Equiping a regeneration ring+Adjudicators shield can pretty much offset the poison damage.
